 | Dr. V. Anantha-Nageswaran was born in Chennai in 1963. He graduated with a Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (MBA) from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad in 1983.
He obtained a doctoral degree in Finance from the University of Massachusetts in 1994 for his work on the empirical behaviour of exchange rates. |
Between 1994 and 1999, he worked for Union Bank of Switzerland (now UBS) and Credit Suisse in Switzerland. Since June 1999, he has been living and working in Singapore.
He is an angel investor in many start-up companies in India. He is one of the Directors of the NPS Indian International School in Singapore. He teaches International Finance to MBA students at the SP Jain Centre for Management in Singapore and at the Great Lakes Institute of Management in Chennai.
He writes a weekly column for MINT, an Indian financial daily on Tuesdays (www.livemint.com) and is a frequent guest at all the major international television networks.
He is also associated with Pragati - The Indian National Interest Review, a publication on public policy, strategic affairs and governance. |
