India Banao! was formally launched on October 20 at the FICCI auditorium in Delhi. Shri L.K. Advani launched the web site in the presence of over 1,000 students from various Delhi institutions such as Amity University, IMI Qutab, IIT Delhi, Delhi University, Delhi School of Economics, IMT Ghaziabad, and many others. India Banao! founders Sanjeev Sanyal, Jayant Sinha, and Sheetal Talwar along with Sanjeev Bikchandani participated in the event. Shri Advani's speech, featured in our Spotlight section, was followed by a lively Q&A session with students. More than 50 questions were submitted, and Shri Advani answered more than 10 questions. These questions ranged from getting Parliamentarians to work harder to winning more medals for India in the Olympics. The session concluded with a pledge by all participants to be more engaged in public affairs and to keep India's political leadership accountable for good governance.
