9 Innocent questions to our "Honest" PM MMS.....

indiabanao.org (256 hits) - 1. Why was our great president Dr. Abdul Kalam NOT given a second term and replaced with 'someone'? 2. Why was Vajpayee's dream 'National Highway' project delayed and Kalam's visionary idea of 'Interlinking of Rivers' scrapped? 3. Why did you allow Mr. Arjun Singh to play with the autonomy of IITs? Don't you think that 50% of faculty reservation would ruin these esteemed institutions. Don't you think it was a crime to throw Dr. Venugopal out of AIIMS? You can afford to have your bypass done by Doctors of private institutes, where would a common man would go…to Dr. Ramdoss? 4. Why did you allow the Indian economy to topple? Disinvestment ministry was disbanded. Money was wasted in socialist, populist, corrupt schemes and India's fiscal deficit is close to historical levels. Rating Agency may soon give India a junk rating. Are your policies or in fact lack of it (along with the global crisis) not responsible for that? 5. Why was one of your ministers (Shibu Soren) absconding from law on the charge of murder and you didn’t have the courage and morality to immediately remove him from your government? 6. Why has Afzal Guru still NOT been hanged despite the Supreme Court asking so? Why Tytler has been given clean chit just before elections?? 7. Why did you align with the brokers (or crude jokers) of politics and allegedly bribed MPs to save your government? Compare it with your predecessor who lost the confidence motion by one vote but won the confidence of the nation by not giving up on his ethics. 8. Sir Why are you afraid of fighting elections for Lok Sabha...(Heard a congress leader saying he (you) is busy in other important work.) So you and congress trying to tell public Lok Sabha Elections are actually not that important?? 9. Why is congress top brass You and Sonia Ji are afraid of Live Debate with BJP top Brass LK ADVANI or others?? We promise would only raise national issues??though we know media has ANTI-BJP bias but still we are not afraid of any such debate. Please reply PM JI. More... (Share Your Views)

"TOGETHER WE CAN"

indiabano.org (168 hits) - namaste, hey!! guys y are we so good at pointing fingers at people before actually asking our own very conscience if we are honest to ourselves?I'm not justifying any politician's careless approach towards possibly the greatest threat to the humanity(terrorism) but it's really unfair to blame someone.isn't it we who've got these bunch of jokers in the parliament of world's largest democracy.what really annoys me is the reactions after such inhuman and brutal activities.people using their lips more than ever and limbs in the frozen state(sorry because me doing the same right now).what i sincerely beleive is that i'm the 'I' in INDIA.CHANGE in the country will start with change in 'I'.and let me remind all my fellowmens that the vision of great leaders will only be achieved when we start CLEANING SELF,REALISING NATIONAL DUTIES AND RESPECTING EACH OTHER. terrorism is the REFUGE IN FEAR.may be that's why it doesn't have a history because anything that germinates in fear actually ends up with nothing. terrorism has got no geography even as it isn't limited to few boundaries.it's a GLOBAL MENACE which only can be encountered with unified human force and once again i'm not stressing on the unified lip service but unified action. A blog entry by Shahvar Ali from Pakistan who loves Bombay

shahvaaralikhan.wordpress.com (177 hits) - I am a proud Pakistani Lahori in love with Bombay! By shahvaaralikhan SHAHVAAR ALI KHAN “Haan boss. Mere ko Bandra jaane ka hai…Carter Road.” (Hey boss, I need to go to Bandra…Carter Road) I nonchalantly told our driver, Aslam, after getting out of the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai....................Follow the blog link My Lahori advertising colleagues who were accompanying me for this particular ad film shoot seemed quite amazed.“Dude, you sound like a local Bombay guy!” I just reacted with an offhanded smirk, as I was more interested in lighting that cigarette I had desperately wanted to smoke since taking off from Lahore. This was almost 8 months ago. Today as I watch the catastrophe and the aftermath of the Mumbai mayhem unravel on TV from my home near Model Town, Lahore, I try to grasp the significance of that phrase: “Local Bombay guy!” What made me switch involuntarily from my usual Punjabized Lahori Urdu to urban colloquial Bambaya Hindi? Was it that in these past 6 years, since returning from college in the United States, the most time that I had spent in any place, outside of Lahore, was in Bombay? Or because some of my closest pals during those four unforgettable years at Trinity College, USA were Mumbaikars? They were the bulk of our relatively small, yet diverse South Asian community, where we were enemies, friends and neighbors all at the same time! Despite maintaining our distinctive national and political ethos as Pakistanis, Indians, Nepalis and Bangladeshis, we were a tightly knit composite ‘desi gang.’ Our camaraderie was so solid that we shared anything and everything under the sun; apart from underwears! And yet we had heated debates and fights on issues ranging from Kashmir to majoritarianism to communalism. Ironically, the last memory that I have of Trinity is of an Indian friend wiping tears off his eyes, while I glanced through the rear view mirror of the cab taking me to the airport. More... I took an example out of Obama's election style that is to use Internet, to reach everyone and request them to vote and aid in forming a stable & a majority government, instead of a weak coalition government. The link http://we-r-indians.blogspot.com/2009/01/100-days-to-go.html PLease forward this link to as many friends as you can and let's create an e-revolution. I look to your views as well More...
